Hello meeple people, and welcome to the Out of Play August update! As we settle into the heart of summer, I wanted to take a moment to share what's been happening at the shop and express my gratitude for the incredible community that makes this all possible.
First off, I want to thank you all for your reviews. Seriously. They help the shop tremendously, and I can't stress enough how important reviewing is to us. Every single review you leave makes a real difference in helping other gamers discover Out of Play and find the products they're looking for. Your words matter, and they fuel our mission to celebrate the joy of connection through tabletop gaming.
I know you might be expecting some flashy announcements or exciting new inventory reveals, but honestly? We're just chugging along, and that's exactly how I like it. Every order that comes through brings me genuine joy. There's something special about knowing that our dice, miniatures, board games, and accessories are heading out into the world to create moments of connection and fun. I love seeing the joy of tabletop gaming being shared, and lots of love to you all for your continued support.
Exciting Opportunities Ahead
While things might seem quiet on the surface, we're actually working on some cool community initiatives. Blog-wise, we're actively looking for indie board game developers who want to write guest posts introducing themselves, their games, and their latest projects. If you're a designer passionate about sharing your work with our community, we'd love to hear from you.
Additionally, we're still building a list of recommended board game stores around the US and internationally for our traveling meeples. We want to create a resource that helps gamers discover amazing shops no matter where their adventures take them.
