It's been a whirlwind of a year, but we made it! Today, we're thrilled to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Out of Play, our beloved tabletop gaming shop. What a journey it's been – filled with ups and downs, new partnerships, and a deep connection with the incredible tabletop gaming community.

When we first opened our shop, we had a vision of creating a one-stop-shop for all your tabletop gaming needs. From hosting our first-ever game jam to welcoming the renowned HABA games to our shelves, it's been a year of exciting milestones.
Our game jam was is particularly special experience. Watching the creativity and passion of our community come together to design and develop new games is truly inspiring. The energy is palpable, and we couldn't be prouder of the innovative prototypes that may emerge.
And speaking of new additions, we're thrilled to announce that HABA games have found a permanent home at Out of Play. Known for their high-quality, family-friendly offerings, HABA has been a perfect fit for our shop. We can't wait to introduce our customers to their selection of family friendly games and see the joy they bring to game nights.

Of course, with growth comes change, and we've certainly experienced our fair share of inventory updates and website revisions. We've had to navigate the challenges of international expansion and the ever-evolving landscape of the board gaming industry. But through it all, we've remained committed to providing our customers with the best possible experience.
Our website has undergone several updates, making it easier than ever for you to browse our extensive collection and find the perfect game for your next gathering. And while we had to temporarily pause our international shipping due to logistical challenges, we're working hard to find a solution that will allow us to once again serve our global community of tabletop enthusiasts.

We've found our place among a group of passionate individuals who share our love for strategic gameplay, immersive storytelling, and the joy of bringing people together around the table.
As a one-woman operation, I've poured my heart and soul into Out of Play. In addition to running the shop, I've been exploring my own creative side, releasing several game prototypes on itch.io and restarting my blog to share my insights and experiences.
